Deepseek VS OpenAI - The AI Race Starts

Last week Middle Child of World, Chinese Devs decided to release an OpenAI rival, Deepseek. Since then Deepseek has been sinking US AI ships and sending them back to Titanic. Nvidia is losing its market value, and every media is very “sincerely” concerned. As Jen Huang is losing his hair, you should know it is and will not be the knockout punch from China. Big Bro America with his VP besties will soon hit back.

Last week if you saw any news portal or news media, everyone was cheering a new AI model popped out of China named Deepseek. For normal people, who don’t understand the deep learning this is the difference,
Okay, imagine OpenAI is like that high-maintenance girlfriend who only wears designer clothes and needs a 12-step skincare routine just to get out of bed. She’s gorgeous and smart, but damn, she’s burning through your credit cards faster than a shopaholic at a Black Friday sale! 💅💸

DeepSeek, on the other hand, is like that clever girlfriend who looks just as hot but shops at thrift stores and knows how to make drugstore makeup look expensive. Her secret? She watched all her rich cousin’s beauty tutorials and figured out how to get the same look for way less!

Although middle child Chinese bro claims they did all these in 5 million, people should always give them the side eyes because of their previous behavior.

But you can ask why people are now hyping up middle-bro China. The simple answer is it is America. Although most of the people want to live in America, they hate it with all their hearts. Even Americans hate America. We can see a simple glimpse of when Americans got the TikTok Ban and went to Rednote. It was funny to see Americans falling for Chinese Propaganda.

But do I think Deepseek is going to kill OpenAI? Nope. Not in a million years. From history, we can see there will always open source products, but most of the companies with big bucks will always trust the Big player. Can Deepseek change the AI game? Hell yes. If what my bro XI Jinping is saying is true, we just close the gap. We have a Robinhood in our hands.

At the end of the day, a Chinese VP-backed project gave us what was promised by SAM ALTMAN. An “openai” sourced AI model. At the end of the day, you have to do what you love and pay for your overcharged Netflix account. HAIL STARGATE.
